Vicky Pattison was recently branded an "inspiration" by fans for sharing an honest video showcasing her physique.
The Geordie Shore babe expertly hit back at body-shamers as she candidly posted footage of herself in a bikini, before opening up about her body insecurities.
However, the reality star has not always been so comfortable in her skin. So what’s her slimming secret, and how did the reality star grow to love her body?
Vicky first started struggling with her weight while working on MTV’s Geordie Shore, where she claims that excessive drinking and binge eating had her piling on the pounds.
At its highest, Vicky’s dress size hit a size 16 – and it was bikini pictures of herself at this weight that eventually triggered her weight loss journey.
Discussing her body at its largest, she said: "[I was] unfit, unhealthy and most importantly – regardless of my grin – I was unhappy".
Determined to trim down, Vicky then set out on a rigorous weight-loss regime, strictly limiting her diet and exercising religiously in order to obtain a size six figure.
The Queen Of The Jungle released her hugely successful ‘7 Day Slim’ DVD, and lost four stone in just three months – but she claims that losing so much weight and working to keep it off also negatively impacted her mental health.
In order to keep off the pounds, Vicky ditched sugary drinks, packaged foods, kebabs and take-aways, and instead lived solely on a high protein diet, also committing to early morning high intensity gym sessions.
However, she told that counting calories daily meant she couldn’t enjoy her life, and added that she was sick of worrying about the "content of a blueberry".
She reflected: "I was a size six with no boobs and pretty much no life.
"I became obsessed, too focused and this in turn was also detrimental to my health."
Vicky explained that it was only when she learnt to balance her healthy lifestyle that she begun to be happy in her skin.
Speaking on Lorraine last year, she said: "If I am exercising, if I’m eating right, I am going to be doing it for hours a day, drinking kale smoothies and giving birth to avocados. That’s the type of person I am" she said.
"Also, if I’m on a night out, I’m on a night out – I’m quite extreme. I’ve now come out the other side of that.
"As well as the fact that I’ve grown up, all of these things have led me to just being a little bit more measured, a little bit more sensible and finding the healthy weight, my happy weight.”
It’s this mindset that has helped Vicky achieve the incredible body she has today.
The TV favourite still loves exercise and often shares selfies from the gym and from fitness bootcamps, using three-day juice cleanses to give her body an extra detox before big events.
She also tries not to over-indulge, despite letting herself have a cake or burger when she wants one.
Discussing her current weight, she told fans recently: "I’m not perfect, but I don’t even know what perfect would look like."
