Can I still collect Sun Savers codes when I'm on holiday abroad and how long do they last?

But what do you do when you're on holiday abroad? Can you still collect Sun Savers codes and how long do codes last?

Can I collect Sun Savers codes abroad?

The only way to get your Sun Savers codes is by picking up a copy of The Sun newspaper and scanning the codes on the Sun Savers page.

The Sun is 50p during the week, 70p on Saturdays and £1.20 on Sundays.

Sun Savers is only available to members in the UK only, so if you go abroad you WON'T be able to collect codes in another country.

Unfortunately even if you pick up a copy of The Sun newspaper abroad, it won't have Sun Savers codes in it, as codes cannot be viewed by non UK residents or UK residents overseas.

How can I still get my Sun Savers codes if I'm abroad?

But just because you're on holiday doesn't mean you can't still get The Sun newspaper in the UK.

You could kindly ask friends and family to buy you a copy of the paper each day you’re away, and you give them the money when you return.

You can set up a reminder on their phones that will give them a gentle nudge each day.

If you don’t have anyone available, or they are all on hols with you, you can politely ask your local newsagent to keep your daily The Sun papers aside for you.

Plus – you have a five-week window to enter your codes once you return, so you won’t miss out on any of those free fivers.

Do I have to collect Sun Savers codes every day to get a free fiver?

No, you don't have to enter Sun Savers codes from consecutive days, so don't worry if you forget a day or two, or you're on hols for a week.

If you don't want to collect codes while you're on holiday, just start where you left off when you get back.

All you need to do is buy 28 copies of Britain’s favourite paper, enter the unique codes each day and we'll give you £5.

This isn’t a one-off and there is no limit to how much cash you can earn. So over the course of a year, that could add up to £65.

But remember, each unique code must be entered within 5 weeks of being printed or it will expire.

If you don’t bank any codes for 12 months, all codes that are in your Sun Savers account will be removed – so remember to keep scanning your codes.

Start collecting today by downloading our free Sun Savers app or go online at sunsavers.co.uk and enter your codes.
