Beyoncé, Lizzo Nominated For 2020 NAACP Image Awards

Beyoncé and Lizzo have been nominated for Outstanding Female Artist award for the 51st NAACP Image Awards.

Lizzo was also shortlisted in the Entertainer Of The Year category.

Lizzo’s Cuz I Love You was nominated for Outstanding Album.

Other nominations she won: “Jerome” for Outstanding Song – Traditional, “Juice” for Outstanding Song – Contemporary and Outstanding Music Video/Visual Album

Beyoncé’s Homecoming: The Live Album received a nomination for Outstanding Album, “Spirit” for Outstanding Song – Traditional, and “Before I Let Go” for Outstanding Song – Contemporary.

“Brown Skin Girl” by Blue Ivy, SAINt JHN, Beyoncé & WizKiD was nominated for Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration award.

Beyoncé with various artists received a nomination for The Lion King: The Gift in Outstanding Soundtrack/Compilation Album category.

“Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé” was nominated for Outstanding Documentary (Television – Series or Special).

Netflix leads the television category nominations with 30, with an additional 12 nominations in the motion picture categories for a total of 42.

The winners will be revealed on February 22.
