It’s the first big bash of Hollywood’s annual award’s season.

And the stars of TV and film did not disappoint as they gathered to celebrate the Golden Globes on Sunday.

Lady Gaga made a bold statement on this year’s red carpet for the Golden Globes, arriving in a stunning blue gown by Valentino with matching colored hair, adding a Tiffany’s & Co. diamond necklace.

Meanwhile Amy Adams arrived in a chic and streamlined teal colored off-the-shoulder gown and Veronica Lake inspired waves while Rachel Brosnahan stood out in her yellow ruched gown and coral lips.

Eye catching: Lady Gaga (L) dazzled in a strapless blue dress with matching colored hair; Amy Adams (C) wowed in a deep green off-the-shoulder gown with Veronica Lake waves while Rachel Brosnahan (R) at this year’s Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills at the Beverly Hilton Hotel

Lady Gaga’s periwinkle gown had statement off-the-shoulder heels and an impressive train; she sported a huge diamond necklace with her blonde hair tinted with blue hair color.

Among those hoping for a win are Bradley Cooper – up for both best actor and best director for his tear-jerker A Star Is Born. His co-star Lady Gaga is nominated in the best actress category, while the film also received nods for best film and best original song.

Adam McKay’s Dick Cheney biopic Vice in the nominations with six nods, including best picture, comedy and best actor nominations for Christian Bale’s nearly unrecognizable performance as the former vice president.

It also earned nominations for Amy Adams’ Lynne Cheney, Sam Rockwell’s George W.Bush and for the screenplay and direction by McKay, the veteran comedy filmmaker who once skewered politicians as a Saturday Night Live writer.

For even the often-quirky selections of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, a collection of 88 mostly lesser-known freelance film journalists, the strong support for Vice was a surprise. Even its categorization of the film — a highly critical portrait of Cheney as a power-hungry, behind-the-scenes tyrant — as a comedy raised some eyebrows, as did Globes recent comedy selections Get Out and The Martian.

All eyes are on Lady Gaga and expectations are high for a Golden Globe win for her portrayal of nightclub Ally Campana in A Star is Born. At Fashion Finder, we were much more interested in what the pop diva chose to wear to the red carpet extravaganza.

Perhaps getting inspiration from a similar light blue gown worn by Judy Garland in the in the '50s version of A Star is Born, Valentino chose the color light blue… to which Lady Gaga dyed her hair to match. Whether or not you agree with her hair color choice, there's no denying Lady Gaga's could be the most talked about gown of the evening. The gown was worn with sleeves which tumbled down into an enormous voluminous trailing train.

Lady Gaga has worn Valentino on numerous occasions. Who can forget the equally gargantuan pink feathered gown at A Star is Born premiere at the Venice Film Festival? And she also has worn the billowing off-shoulder black gown from Spring 2019.

Because it is made-to-measure, you can't get Lady Gaga's exact dress. But click right to shop the collection. And check out our roundup of baby blue lookalikes below.
