Phillip Schofield takes trip to Paris with wife and daughters days after coming out as gay

This Morning star Phillip Schofield’s daughter Molly Schofield filmed the family enjoying dinner together at a restaurant in Paris. It comes just days after the presenter said his wife and daughters have supported him through “coming to terms with” being gay.

Phillip also gave fans an insight into their family’s trip on his own Instagram page.

At first, the presenter shared a black and white picture of the iconic Eiffel Tower.

He later shared a snap of the four of them standing in front of a large love heart, emblazoned with lights.

Phil was pictured standing next to his wife as she held on to one of their daughter’s hands.

The family appeared in high spirits as they beamed for the camera.

The ITV regular followed up his post by sharing a selfie of himself and his wife.

Phillip and Steph smiled for the camera while sporting sunglasses as they stood in front of the Eiffel Tower.

The ITV regular – who fronts This Morning alongside Holly Willoughby – announced he is gay in a touching statement on Instagram earlier this month.

He told his three millions he is “coming to terms” with the fact he’s gay and said his family supported his feelings.

He added: “You never know what’s going on in someone’s seemingly perfect life, what issues they are struggling with, or the state of their wellbeing – and so you won’t know what has been consuming me for the last few years.

“With the strength and support of my wife and my daughters, I have been coming to terms with the fact that I am gay.

“This is something that has caused many heart-breaking conversations at home.

“I have been married to Steph for nearly 27 years, and we have two beautiful grown-up daughters, Molly and Ruby.”

The presenter spoke further about his feelings on the show alongside his co-star and best friend Holly.

She asked him how his wife had been coping following his announcement.

“It’s tough. But this is not something that has happened quickly. I’ve had to deal with this in my head for quite some time,” he divulged

“And so we’ve gone through this together, we’ve been honest and we’ve been open.

“I can’t write in any statement what I feel about that woman. She is amazing.

“She’s incredible. I have never in my life, there is nobody in my life who would have supported me the way, as a wife, the way she has supported me. She’s astonishing.”

Following his announcement earlier this month, he wrote: “I may not have been posting, but I’ve been reading your incredible messages of support.

“You have taken #bekind to the best level on here.”

He then added a love heart emoji.

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
