But while most brides-to-be will have to deal with a few unforeseen dramas, one couple have made a hilarious oversight when laying out their itinerary for their wedding day… but can YOU spot it?
Sharing the cringeworthy mistake on the Awkward Family Photos Instagram page, newlyweds Theresa and Jason helpfully laid out a schedule for the day's proceedings as they welcomed guests to their "unplugged wedding".
With the ceremony starting at 3pm and dinner not til 5:30, the generous couple decided to treat their guests to some appetisers at 3:30 to last them until their main meal.
However, instead of labelling the appetisers hord d'oeuvres – as they are commonly known in in the US – the couple accidentally named the two hour slot of their wedding "Horse Ovaries".
And let's just say, we can totally understand why guests broke the no phone rule and snapped a picture.
Sharing the awkward spelling mistake with their 545,00 followers, the Awkward Family Photos account captioned the image: "At a friend's wedding. I can't wait for 3:30!"
Poking fun at the hilarious oversight, one user joked in the comments: "Not surprised that they banned cell phones. Horse ovaries are best when not eaten in public."
Meanwhile, another added: "I'm picturing a staff member at the end of the receiving line with their tray of horse d'oeuvres that everyone is too afraid to take…"
Note to self: always triple check every single detail before sending to the printers…
For even more embarrassing blunders, Primark made an awkward typo with this stationery… but can you spot it?
Plus Pret a Manger accidentally made a huge spelling mistake in this job advert.
Meanwhile, B&M made an epic mistake when they named this £29.99 mirror… can you see why?
