‘America’s Next Top Model’ contestant Jael Strauss dies 2 months after cancer diagnosis

Former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Jael Strauss has died from cancer. She was 34.

Strauss, who competed on the eighth season of the CW show in 2007, died Tuesday morning, according to a GoFundMe page previously set up to raise money for the model’s medical expenses.

“Today we lost our Earth angel and she is back in the spirit world from which she came and we know she will be watching over all of us,” the campaign posted in an update Tuesday night.

In October, Strauss shared with her fans in a heartbreaking Facebook post that she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that “aggressively spread throughout my body and is incurable.” She pinpointed the disease as Progressive Metastatic Inflammatory Breast Cancer.
