Asda is selling huge chocolate eclairs that are so big they serve ten people

Christmas has come early for dessert lovers – Asda has now made a huge chocolate and caramel eclair.

The super-sized treat feeds up to ten, or just one if you are that much of a foodie.

Its choux pastry is loaded with scrummy creamy chocolate mousse and is topped with a delicious fondant, caramel flavour fudge icing and a gold coloured sweet dusting.

What's more, Asda is selling them for just £5.

But they are only available at a selected number of stores – so make sure you check before you set off.

Would you tuck into the giant eclair? Don't forget to leave us your thoughts in the comments section below.

Pictures of the huge dessert hit social media and it gathered quite a response from hungry users.

"Serves 10?" I'm eating that on my own!" joked one.

Another said: "Are you sure it's for feeding 10 people, and not to last just 10 minutes?"

If you can't wolf down the whole thing, fear not.

The supermarket is still selling two packs of chocolate eclairs for 79p instead.

Asda is trying to make sure we're well stocked around the waist this Christmas – and that we're getting some vital eating practice in.

The supermarket is also selling a boozy Baileys Chocolate Yule Log to enjoy on December 25, or before if you fancy.

It is made of a "soft chocolate sponge rolled with chocolate flavoured frosting coated in milk chocolate, [and] covered with the signature Baileys frosting," and is "finished with bronzed chocolate curls and an edible chocolate Baileys plaque".

It is also on sale for only £5.
