Gordon Ramsay has been given another grilling – over a minuscule steak and chips that costs £23.

The celebrity chef has already been savaged this week after crowing about a £19 full English breakfast.

Now a diner has revealed he found the cost of his dinner at chef Ramsay’s York and Albany restaurant in London hard to swallow.

Disappointed Guillaume R, who left a one-star review, posted on TripAdvisor this week, said: “Gordon isn't Heston, but Gordon is Jesus."

Guillaume added: "He multiplies the steaks – give him a regular sized, one portion steak in any restaurant and this is what he comes up with.

"Five slices of meat with over salted fries. £23…."

“Gordon you made a name giving advice on how to run a restaurant.

"Let me give you my advice."

The fuming reviewer continued: “This is Covid time, hospitality sector is in bad shape, blatantly joking at your customers won’t help your business.

"Two stars for the polite staff.”

Gordon was mercilessly mocked after plugging his £19 fry up this week.

On Twitter, the celebrity chef wrote: “The most amazing Full English. Can’t wait for you to try it from 21st September at Savoy Grill!”

The dish, served at the upmarket London grill, has two eggs, bacon, a single sausage, a tomato and a mushroom.

But it didn’t go down too well with some of his 7.4million followers.

One asked: “Full? As in what no-one would be after eating that pitifully small plateful?”

Another questioned: “Where’s the rest of it?”

A third wrote: “Overpriced and missing ingredients. Bin.”

And a fourth added: “This is an absolute abomination.”

Others were angered that it costs £5 to add any extras to the breakfast.

You’d have to pay an extra fiver for another sausage, for example.

A critic said: “Can’t wait for you to try it!!!!! Are the sides £5 each or is that for all of them?

"Who is mug enough to pay a fiver for one sausage? Get a grip GR.”

Someone else said: “Where is the black pudding?”

Over 280 reviewers have given Gordon's restaurant five stars, so it seems many are happy with what they received.

However a further 114 gave the restaurant just one star.
