  • KAN OPEN TO MOVE?

AC Milan's Turkey winger Hakan Calhanoglu is waiting to see if Arsenal firm up their reported interest.

The ex-Hamburg and Bayer Leverkusen star's agent is said to have touted the 25-year-old to the Gunners.

And Milan, a tame eighth in Serie A, are thought to be keen on offloading players.

  • BARCA INTEREST NOT AUBA YET

Barcelona are reportedly still hovering for Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – even though Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez is now thought to be their main frontline target.

The LaLiga champs want to replace crocked Luis Suarez – and have even contemplated an unlikely loan bid for the Gunners' skipper.

Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo believe Barca are particularly keen on Aubameyang as the 30-year-old ex-Borussia Dortmund hero is one of Europe's most proven scorers.

  • GUIM REAPER OF 'GREAT' MOVE

Arsenal and Chelsea target Bruno Guimaraes is on the brink of a £21million switch from Brazilian top-flight club Athletico Paranaense.

The defensive midfielder has so far played all his football in his native Brazil, for whom he has two Under-23 caps.

The 22-year-old said this week:“I know that clubs are in talks… it's difficult to choose. They're all great teams.”

  • GUNNERS MUST GUARD THE REAR

Legend Charlie Nicholas is urging Arsenal to make defensive midfielders their transfer priority this month.

The former Scotland striker wants “two protectors right in front of the back four” – but is also demanding more from flair players Nicolas Pepe and Alexandre Lacazette.

Nicholas added: “I would still sell Granit Xhaka if the money was right.

“Mikel Arteta has to get in the market and help the defence.”

  • KARY ON HUNTING

Tottenham are reportedly still in pole position for Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare, who has also been linked to Arsenal.

LEquipe says Spurs have made the first official bid for the France Under-21 star.

Jose Mourinho’s assistant coach Joao Sacramento worked wit the 20-year-old when he was a coach at Ligue 1 side Lille.
