MANCHESTER UNITED could go to within two points of league leaders Liverpool with a win this evening.
But that doesn't mean that boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is entirely satisfied with his squad.
The last transfer window only slammed shut on October 5.
United, however, look set for another busy one next month.
The Red Devils possess a number of first team stars that could be shown the door by the Norwegian.
So let's take a little look at who could be on their way out of Old Trafford.
The injury-plagued former England international is something of a forgotten man at United.
Left out of the Red Devils' 25-man squad this season, the veteran of 224 United appearances and three trophy wins appears to be on the way out.
The defender could be reunited with former team-mate Wayne Rooney at Derby County.
Unlike Jones, Marcos Rojo, 30, was at least registered in Solskjaer's 25-man Premier League squad.
But it hasn't made a difference, as the Argentine has been limited to just 45 minutes of Under-23s football this season.
According to The Athletic, Newcastle United are interested in signing the veteran of 122 Red Devils outings.
Trusty backup goalkeeper Sergio Romero was left understandably furious back in October, after being left out of United's PL squad.
The Argentine was deemed surplus to requirements following Dean Henderson's return from Sheffield United, but was denied a loan move to Everton regardless.
Romero, 33, could be offered an escape route by Inter Miami.
Man United may seek to cash in on the Frenchman, who now has 18 months left on his contract.
Agent Mino Raiola revealed that it is 'over' at Old Trafford for his client Paul Pogba.
And Real Madrid or Juventus may aim to rekindle their interest in the talented midfielder, 27.
Jesse Lingard has had some bad luck of late, after having to self-isolate following contact with someone that tested positive for Covid-19.
But in truth, the former England star has hardly featured at all for United this term, with 99 minutes in the EFL Cup earlier this season his only game time of the campaign.
The Red Devils may be about to trigger an extra year in Lingard's contract in order to protect value, before sending him out on loan – with Sheffield United keen.
Full-back Brandon Williams had an incredibly encouraging debut campaign at United last time out, appearing 36 times in all competitions.
But opportunities have dried up this term, with the 20-year-old having featured for only six minutes in the Premier League.
The solution could be a loan move, with Newcastle United and Bayer Leverkusen believed to be interested.
Welsh winger Daniel James has enjoyed something of a renaissance of late, starting United's last two Premier League games, following seven out of the team.
The 23-year-old offered a reminder of his qualities with a goal in the 6-2 win over Leeds United.
And West Brom are believed to be one of a number of teams interested in taking the starlet on loan.
