    NICO ON THE GO

19-year-old Genoa midfielder Nico Ravella is reportedly close to signing for Serie A giants Juventus.

The Old Lady are struggling this season, currently sitting sixth in the table, with boss Andrea Pirlo keen to freshen things up in Turin.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports Genoa and Juve have reached an agreement over the highly rated Italian midfielder, with the move now seemingly imminent.

Ravella's contract expires in the summer, meaning Genoa are keen to offload Ravella while they can still receive a transfer fee.

    FEELING THE BLUES

Chelsea have reportedly joined Manchester United in the race to sign Jadon Sancho.

And according to CBS Soccer podcast Que Golazo, there are TWO possible destinations for the England international.

Chelsea are now keeping an eye on his situation in Germany and could dash United's hopes of landing the 20-year-old.

But both clubs will have to wait until the end of the season – Dortmund are not considering a January sale of the star winger.

Chelsea have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Sancho after the winger admitted he was a Blues fan growing up.

Manchester United were heavily speculated with his return to England in the summer but refused to stump up his £108million asking price.

    ROGER THAT

Arsenal have reportedly joined Liverpool in the race for highly rated Roma defender Roger Ibanez.

Calciomercato claim Arsenal have enquired about the availability of the 22-year-old, while Liverpool have also been previously linked.

Brazilian defender Ibanez is currently on loan at Roma from Atalanta, and is said to be worth around £35million.

Both Arsenal and Liverpool are keen to shore up at the back, with Arsenal defenders David Luiz and Skhodran Mustafi likely to leave in the summer, and Sokratis also close to the Emirates exit door.

Liverpool meanwhile are in the midst of a defensive nightmare with injuries to Virgil Van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip, but Tottenham, Everton, Leicester and PSG are all reportedly keen on Ibanez.

    NOU START

Barcelona presidential candidate Emili Rousand has an agreement in place to sign Erling Haaland, it's been claimed.

The Spanish giants are among a long list of clubs interested in signing the Borussia Dortmund forward in the summer.

As quoted by AS, Minguella said: "We know all the conditions and if we win, the following day I will call Mino Raiola and we will accept those conditions.

"I have already advised him of that. We have a world class sports project that is not showing just now, but Emili Rousaud has a plan that will turn this unfortunate situation [at Barcelona] around."

    IN FOR ISCO

Real Madrid midfielder Isco is still on the radar of Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, with a six-month loan deal the ideal scenario, according to reports.

A loan deal would mean the Gunners do not have to spend a large amount of money in January, although there are doubts as to whether Isco will be allowed to leave Madrid.

Despite struggling for game time at Real, Isco has featured in ten La Liga games this season, and according to Goal, Los Blancos bosses have not yet made their mind up on what to do with the 28-year-old.

The signing of Isco would be a major coup for the Gunners, who are crying out for a spark in midfield to help fire them up the table.

    WOLVES WANT WIJNALDUM

Wolves have emerged as shock candidates for Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.

Gazzetta Dello Sport claim Wolves, Inter Milan and Barcelona are all keen on the 30-year-old Dutchman's signature, with his contract with the Reds expiring in the summer.

Barcelona are long time admirers of Wijnaldum, and with fellow Dutchman Ronaldo Koeman in charge, a move to Spain is a possibility.

However, Nuno Espirito Santa has reportedly earmarked Wijnaldum as a potential replacement for Joao Moutinho, who's contract expires in 18 months time.

Wijnaldum is said to still be considering an offer to stay from the Reds, meaning a move could be on the cards.

    EMERSON ON THE MOVE

According to reports in Italy, Chelsea left back Emerson is a loan target for Napoli in January.

Emerson has struggled to nail down a starting spot ever since his arrival at the Blues, and the signing of Ben Chilwell in the summer means his chances have been even more limited.

Corriere Dello Sport state that Napoli are keen to take Brazilian Emerson on a six month loan deal.

However, with Marcos Alonso seemingly edging towards a move to Atletico Madrid, the Blues may have to keep hold of 26-year-old Emerson in case of an injury to Chilwell.

Either way, Chelsea are likely to lose at least one left back once the transfer window opens tomorrow.

    JOSTLING FOR JOSH

West Ham David Moyes is reportedly eager to bring another Brentford player to East London, with Josh Dasilva on the radar of Hammers bosses.

Said Benhrama made the switch from the Bees to West Ham in the summer, with left back Rico Henry also being linked to the Hammers from Brentford.

Now Josh Dasilva is the latest man to be targeted, after his performance in the Carabao Cup quarter final victory over Newcastle.

Dasilva is also an England Under-21 international, and formerly of Arsenal.

However, Brentford boss Thomas Frank has said:"No players will leave us in January. That’s not an option. They enjoy playing for Brentford and we are enjoying the journey.

"None of the players want to leave us and we definitely don’t want to let them go."

    STRENGTHEN AT THE BACK

Steve McManaman thinks Liverpool need to strengthen in defence is the Reds want to retain their Premier League crown.

20-year-old Schalke defender Ozan Kabak and 22-year-old Red Bull Leipzig centre back Dayot Upamecano are two names the Reds have been linked with in recent weeks.

Speaking to Amazon Prime, McManaman said: “If Liverpool go in and buy two central defenders I think they would run away with it.

"If they don’t it could be nip and tuck, it could be a lot closer. You’d expect teams to improve and put runs together."

    SEE YA SEAD

Arsenal left back Sead Kolasinac is reportedly on the verge of exiting the Emirates, and has agreed a loan deal with Bundesliga side Schalke.

Football London reports that 27-year-old Kolasinac will join bottom of the table Schalke on a six month loan deal, without an obligation to buy.

Kolasinac has barely featured for the Gunners in recent months, as Kieran Tierney has firmly established himself as first choice left back.

The Bosnian left back will return the side he left in 2017 to join the Gunners.

    KHEDIRA TO THE PREM?

Sami Khedira is keen on switching Serie A for the Premier League, according to reports.

Khedira, who won the World Cup with Germany in 2014, hasn't played for Juventus since June.

His contract expires in the summer but the door is open for him to leave in January, with Juve keen to free up some space on their wage bill.

Khedira has spoken of his admiration for Jose Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti, meaning Spurs and Everton are two potential destinations.

The 33-year old told the Athletic: "The Premier League is still missing in my collection, to play there would be the icing on the cake.

"I’ve done extra sessions with fitness coaches to get myself ready for the pace and intensity."

    GOOD MORNING TRANSFER FANS

SunSport can exclusively reveal Man United have renewed their interest in Norwich defender Max Aarons.

But they may have to wait until the summer to make their move.

The highly-rated England under-21 international is wanted by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and would jump at the chance of a switch.

United were interested in Aarons in June 2019 but he was the second option behind Aaron Wan-Bisska who moved from Crystal Palace for £50m.

But while Wan-Bissska is a solid defence, Solskjaer wants a right-back with more of an attacking threat and this is one of the Norwich player’s biggest strengths.

Meanwhile, Utd are also leading the charge for Chelsea target Moises Caicedo.

Fabrizio Romano claims contacts have been made with the 19-year-old Ecuador midfielder.

There are no bids on the table yet but the ball is in United’s court.

And it’s now up to the Red Devils to make their move before Chelsea and other sides join the fray.

Finally, Leon Bailey has put United and Arsenal on red alert by joining Will Salthouse’s Unique Sports Management Agency.

The Bayer Leverkusen star has been linked with moves to both teams as well as Tottenham.

Everton are also said to have sent scouts to watch the winger.

Jamaican international Bailey is valued around £40million and will be represented by his dad Craig Butler’s Phoenix Sports Management and Salthouse’s USM, according to the Mail.

    BRUCEY BONUS

Steve Bruce admits he is eyeing a couple of deals in January after Newcastle’s 0-0 draw with Liverpool.

He said: “We've got one or two things. We all know how difficult January is.

“Last year we brought in three loan signings which helped us. That's an avenue we'll go down.

“It's very very difficult to go and get a loan player who can come in straight away and improve you.

“You usually get them in January because they haven't been playing or they've fallen out with someone.

“We'll scour the market. We've got one or two things we might progress, hopefully. And if it improves us we'll try and be in a position to act.”

    GO FOR SANCHO

Chelsea are apparently eyeing a shock deal for Jadon Sancho.

The Que Golazo podcast via Football.London claims the Blues are closely monitoring his situation.

Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech have both suffered injuries this term, forcing Timo Werner to the wings.

But Frank Lampard will have to wait until the summer if he wants to make a move for England international Sancho.

    SEAD AND DONE

Schalke have reportedly approached Arsenal over a deal to re-sign Sead Kolasinac.

Sky Germany claims the left-back is wanted on loan at his old side.

Kolasinac is eager for a deal to go through.

And he is even willing to take a pay cut in order to leave the Emirates next month.

    POCH RAID

Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly plotting a swoop on old club Tottenham for Hugo Lloris and Dele Alli once confirmed as Paris Saint-Germain boss.

Eurosport claims Poch, who was axed by Spurs in November 2019, will return to his former team for reinforcements once announced.

    TAKING THE IS

Isco is reportedly set to snub Arsenal for a summer switch to Sevilla.

AS claims the playmaker will be allowed to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season after making just three starts under Zinedine Zidane.

Bernabeu chiefs are said to be holding out for a transfer fee worth between £13million and £18m.

And they also expect Sevilla to meet Isco’s £7m annual salary in full, freeing up space in the wage budget for a potential new Galactico signing.

    PAY THE PRICE

Juventus have joined Barcelona in the race for former Manchester United winger Memphis Depay, according to reports.

The Lyon ace was heavily linked with a move to the Nou Camp at the end of last season.

But the Catalans will face stiff competition for the Dutchman in January with the Serie A giants also keen, according to Turin newspaper La Stampa.

Juve are also said to be considering including forward Federico Bernardeschi, 26, as part of a swap deal.

    MAKING HIS MARC

Chelsea forgotten man Marcos Alonso is reportedly set to join Atletico Madrid in the January transfer window.

The left-back has slipped down the pecking order following the arrival of Ben Chilwell and a loan deal between the two clubs is close to being agreed, according to MARCA.

Diego Simeone is eager to strengthen at full-back after Kieran Trippier was handed a 10-week worldwide ban for breaching the Football Association's betting rules.

Alonso has been restricted to three appearances in all competitions this term after being frozen out by Frank Lampard.

The Spaniard – under contract at Chelsea until 2023 – has not featured since being hauled off at half time in the 3-3 draw at West Brom in September.

A fresh start in the Spanish capital awaits Alonso, who will likely be at home in Simeone's five-at-the-back system, which could free Yannick Carrasco to cover on the opposite flank for Trippier.

    EXCLUSIVE BY TOM SHEEN

AC Milan are chasing Wilfried Zaha in January and believe the Crystal Palace star can fire them to a first title in ten years.

The Italian giants, currently top of Serie A, are looking to add more firepower as they bid to win a first Scudetto since 2010-11.

Milan see Zaha as a great addition to a squad that could potentially end Juventus' nine-year supremacy in Serie A.

The Rossoneri are said to have been impressed with his switch to the centre and his goal record, especially given the relative lack of service he has received.

And it’s now up to the Red Devils to make their move before Chelsea and other sides join the fray.

Man United have renewed their interest in Norwich defender Max Aarons – but may have to wait until the summer.

The highly-rated England under-21 international is wanted by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and would jump at the chance of a move.

Yet the Championship leaders are in no need to sell financially having banked over £40million in the summer after selling Ben Godfrey to Everton and Jamal Lewis to Newcastle.
