The track everyone affectionately refers to as 'Lingers' gets the treatment on Tuesday, with little catching the eye over the timber.
VERY HONEST (Lingfield, 12.50) fits an angle I always look out for, with a drop into a very winnable Class 6.
The five-year-old has been running okay in a string of Class 4 and 5s, with the handicapper finally easing her back to the beloved 0-65 category.
After a summer break she returned with a poor effort before a decent fourth in a race that has played out fairly well.
She's now back at hier favourite track, and a course her trainer is 4-11 at this season.
The draw is important at Lingfield, so it was pleasing to see her get the number three berth.
She's a double course winner and you can add three thirds to that from seven efforts.
All of those have come in a better grade than this and I'm confident she can make it three wins at Leafy Lingfield to cheer up a murky Tuesday.
Elsewhere on Tuesday…
My only other bet will be OAKLEY (Southwell, 2.30).
He's Dickie Johnson's only ride of the day and ran well for much of the way on hurdles debut at Sandown. That race is red hot and the ground went against him.
With a smoother round of jumping, Johnson and Hobbs should be in the Winners' Enclosure.
