ARSENAL fans were left fuming after Sadio Mane only received a yellow card for an apparent elbow on Kieran Tierney.
The Senegal winger appeared to raise his arm into the face of the left-back just two minutes into the contest.
Tierney instantly held his face and appeared in discomfort with the incident taking place right in front of the linesman.
The lino instantly waved his flag signalling a foul for the Gunners.
Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville said: "He's got to be careful. There was obvious movement across to Tierney.
"He could be in a bit of trouble. He may just get away with it."
After consulting the linesman, the referee eventually showed Mane a yellow card – much to the anger of Arsenal fans.
One commented: "Blatant red. Where was the VAR check on that one."
Another added: "A punch to the face? Red. Got away with it and will inevitably be involved in the winner."
