From Emily Atack to Molly-Mae, can you recognise the celebrities from these throwback pics?

BEFORE they were famous, these celebs were dreaming of acting, singing or one day appearing on our TV screens.

And as Christmas and New Year approach, it’s no wonder some of the UK’s best-loved celebs have been reminiscing about their childhoods on social media.

Blonde TV personalities Emily Atack, Sam Faiers and Molly-Mae Hague are just three of the celebs to recently showcase their throwback snaps on Instagram.

But can you tell their younger selves apart? And who else has posted an old-school shot online recently?

See if you can guess the celebrity from just one photo of their younger self…

This 21-year-old TV personality, from Hertfordshire, was born in 1999.

She grew up to become a fan favourite on the fifth series of ITV's summer smash Love Island, and has over five million Instagram fans.

Molly-Mae Hague

Molly-Mae recently shared throwbacks of her and boyfriend Tommy Fury on Instagram.

This London-born celeb is another Love Island contestant – from series six – with an impressive 1.5 million Instagram followers.

She recently hit headlines for confessing to a liposuction procedure on her legs. But it's fair to say it's her hair that's undergone the biggest transformation…

Shaughna Phillips

Fringe-free Shaughna is now 25 – meaning her throwback snap could be two decades old.

The smiling student in this photograph was one of the original cast members of The Only Way Is Essex.

She now has two children, Paul and Rosie, and stars in an ITVBe series called The Mummy Diaries.

Sam Faiers

Stunning Sam is now 29 – and her eldest child Paul is now five. How time flies!

Recognise this cheeky, smiling toddler? Today, you'd know the actress with an unusual last name from her iconic role in The Inbetweeners.

Perhaps she's more familiar from her stint on I'm A Celebrity's last Australia series. She also recently popped up on The Cube and has her own show on ITV Two.

Emily Atack

Yep, it's Emily alright. Known as a comedic actor, it's no surprise that her new series, The Emily Atack Show, is full of stand-up, impressions and sketchy comedy.
