Noel Edmonds and Nick Knowles’ spats were "left out" of the show from editing, says Malique Thompson Dwyer.
The Hollyoaks star has revealed how there were lots of clashes around the campfire, and he tried to keep out, though many of the arguments were not shown to viewers at home.
He said: "They were having these big disputes. They debated evolution, and Nick said we have all evolved from monkeys and I don’t think Noel believes it.
"Half the time I thought, ‘I’m not even listening to what they say.’"
Noel took things further in the chat alongside Malique, where he said he thought "competitive" Nick was "on a mission to win it," but Malique tried to defend his DIY dad, saying his skills were invaluable in the camp.
Malique continued: "Nick was doing so much. He even made a washing line, Harry was next to the fire getting smoked up and he made this cover out of palm leaves to stop the smoke.
"So he’s very handy – I don’t think he was irritating anyone."
On This Morning, when Vicky Pattison told this story to Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes, the pair were frustrated to hear how they had not seen any of this, saying that they want to see things continue and it is such a shame that Noel had left the jungle, as now these arguments do not have the chance to "boil over."

Vicky joked that Noel was "famous for his quirky opinions," so it was always likely the pair would not get on, but they were sad to see this didn’t quite make our screens.
One of the things we have seen is the pair arguing over camp rules, with Noel regularly leaving camp against the will of the former camp leader, Nick.

I’m A Celebrity continues at 9pm tonight and This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.
