Love Island's Maura 'jumped in Amy's bed before it was cold' to woo Curtis, blasts ex-Islander Elma

LOVE Island’s Maura has been accused of jumping in “Amy’s bed before it was cold” to woo Curtis, by former BFF Elma Pazar.

The Essex babe’s strong words come after she was slammed by Maura, 28, for breaking “girl code” after Tom Walker revealed he liked both ladies and Elma dared to have a chat with him.

After Amy Hart’s emotional departure on Tuesday night, Maura wasted no time in having a “chat” with Curtis, 23. Barely giving time for the dust to settle following the 26-year-old’s exit.

Elma, also 26, entered the villa with Maura Higgins and the duo quickly became close.

However, all that changed when Maura gave her a telling off over "girl code", after Elma said she wouldn’t mind getting to know Tom Walker – who the Irish beauty had her eye on.

But now it seems the tables have turned on Maura, and Elma was quick to blast her former friend.

Speaking to Daily Star Online, she revealed Amy’s departure from the villa had upset her, saying: "I’m proud of her you know, because in a situation like that when you can’t escape, the best thing to do is to remove yourself."

She then added: "I do think had Maura not jumped into her bed before it was even cold it might have made the situation a little bit easier.

"If she waited a little bit – which she didn’t – she felt the need to say it pretty much the same day.

"I do think that was a little bit unfair, and I think it really impacted Amy’s stay and Amy’s decision."

The comments come after Amy’s exit was shown in last night’s episode after she left the villa.

Speaking in the Beach Hut, she said: "I want [Curtis] to be happy and I want him to meet someone else.

"So I’m leaving here today not holding any grudges against anyone, not against Curtis, not against Maura, no one.

"I never thought I would fall in love, I never thought someone would make me feel so special that I would fall in love with them and I did and it made me realise that will happen for me again, just not in here."

In Wednesday night’s show it was revealed there is a recoupling coming up where the girls will get to choose their man.

The seven female islanders get to pick who they will pair with, meaning one of the eight lads will be flying home to the UK.

It could be a short stay for new boy Chris who only arrived in the villa yesterday.

Although he went on a date with Maura Higgins and Belle Hassan, and introduced properly to single Amber, he somehow managed to make them fancy other guys even more.

After returning from their dates, both Belle and Maura revealed how they longed for Anton and Curtis, respectively. While Amber was reduced to tears after realising she still had feelings for Michael.

Watching Amber get upset about her situation, fans are worried she might follow fellow islander Amy Hart and quit the villa.

One fan penned: "I absolutely love Amber, it’s sad she is so hurt.

"I hope she can move on and enjoy the rest of her experience, otherwise it could be empowering for her to do what Amy did for her own happiness."

"Feel so bad for Amber, kinda sad to watch, she's my fav but maybe it's better for her to walk like Amy," another said.

A third wrote: "Personally I think Amber should just follow Amy but that’s just me."

While one viewer vowed: "I swear, if Amber gets any ideas from Amy, I’m killing something."
