One person was killed — and another two were injured — in a fire at an Upper East Side high-rise on Friday night, according to the FDNY.
The blaze erupted on the 25th floor of Adams Tower, a 32-story residential building on East 84th Street near 1st Avenue at about 9 p.m., fire officials said.
Nearly 80 firefighters responded to the fire, which was under control less than an hour later, authorities said.
The victims were taken to a nearby hospital, where the one, a man in his 70s, was pronounced dead.
The fire was confined to a single apartment, sources told The Post.
