A Place In The Sun presenter Danni Menzies, 32, has taken to Instagram to address a DIY blunder while decorating her new flat. The host of the Channel 4 favourite property show documented the DIY fail in a short clip, which showed a bright blue wall in her bedroom which she likened to her native Scottish flag, before revealing that she was desperate to paint over it.

In view of her 79,200 fans, the TV star relayed her decorating fail which Danni claimed had left a wall in her bedroom resembling the Scottish flag.
Jumping onto her Instagram stories, the star wore her blonde-streaked hair in a messy bun and a simple white tank top in preparation for a day of DIY.
She said: “When I moved into my new flat I really wanted a feature wall in the bedroom and being a little bit gung-ho sometimes I picked two colours without really thinking it through.
“It ended up looking like the Scotland flag,” she candidly admitted while revealing the offending wall.
“So today, I’m fixing it” the star declared with a laugh.
Danni went on to ask her followers how many coats of paint the brightly coloured wall would take to cover, with the property show presenter herself guessing seven.
The Channel 4 host went on to document her work, adding that she found the process of redecorating “very satisfying”.
Showing the results of her progress, Danni said: “I don’t think that’s bad for one coat, I am sweaty”, she moaned as she did DIY in the humid weather.
“So, the question now is, do I do two base coats, or just one base coat and just layers of paint?” she asked her followers.
Danni then panned the back wall of her bedroom which was now a shade of white, while pondering over her next move.
The star went on to add that following her over-enthusiastic approach to having a blue feature wall, she was convinced that it would need more than three coats of paint to correct.
Months ago, the APITS host took to social media to reveal that she had bought a home in London and documented her move into her new flat.
However, despite the move, the blonde-haired beauty is still a regular at her family estate in Scotland.
During lockdown last year, Danni documented her time at her family home at Mains of Taymouth Country Estate in Kenmore, Perthshire.
But in March the star revealed that she was making the move down to the UK’s capital.
Sharing a snap of herself fresh-faced and surrounded by moving boxes, Dani captioned the pictures “she’s in”, as fans rushed to congratulate her.
Last year, Danni regularly posted pictures of herself enjoying the wild landscape with her family and dogs as she stayed at her parents’ home before she made the move down to London.
The property expert spoke about going into lockdown with her mother and father, as well as her Army hero ex, after going on only a few dates.
Danni told how she and Simon met after pals thought it would be a good idea they went on a blind date and after “five or six dates”, the couple ended up isolating together for 10 weeks at her family’s home.
However, the relationship didn’t last and Danni took to social media to confirm that they had split at the end of last year.
