Amanda Holden wishes lookalike daughter Lexi happy 16th birthday

Amanda Holden has taken to Instagram to wish her daughter Lexi a happy 16th birthday with a beautiful photo of the teen.

The presenter, 50, shared a photo of her lookalike daughter staring off to one side, wearing a blue sequinned top and multiple silver bracelets and rings, with her blonde hair left loose.

Amanda wrote alongside it: ‘Happy sweet 16 to our beautiful Lexi from Mama and Dada who love you so much!’

Lexi is Amanda’s oldest daughter with husband Chris Hughes and the couple also share Hollie, nine.

Amanda also took to her story to share an adorable snap of Lexi when she was a toddler, adding: ‘Our baby Lexi turns 16 today. Just can’t believe it. Love you sooo much.’

It was recently revealed that Lexi has reportedly caught the eye of model scouts who are looking to sign her up to a top agency.

However, Amanda is said to be adamant that Lexi finishes her studies before she can sign up to any of them and start working.

A source told The Sun: ‘Amanda was adamant she complete her studies first. The family is excited and proud.’

The family have also recently returned from a lavish holiday to Antigua together over the new year, where Amanda shared photos of her and Lexi larking about.

Amanda is now back filming for Britain’s Got Talent and recently shared her shock at Simon Cowell’s engagement to Lauren Silverman.

She said on her Heart radio show: ‘Last night we all got the text saying, “It’s happening” and we couldn’t believe it, and I knew it would be in the papers today if we got the text last night. So I was like “oh my goodness!”

‘I have to say, I’m probably as shocked as Lauren! Simon said he would never get married, and obviously Lauren has been by his side and you now they’ve been through so much together, and I think she’s the one, but I don’t know if she ever thought he would put a ring on it!’
