‘If he doesn’t win there will be riots!’ Britain’s Got Talent fans moved to tears as ‘fierce’ ballroom dancer Nathan wows judges after ‘sassy’ exchange with judge Bruno Tonioli
Britain’s Got Talent viewers became instant fans of ballroom dancer Nathan as he took to the stage to audition on Sunday night.
The auditionee, 24, performed a routine as part of a Latin duo with his dance partner Joanne, 28, to Shakira’s 2016 song Try Everything.
And fans of the show were just as delighted with his sassy personality as they were with his audition as his moment unfolded on screen.
Before arriving for his audition in Manchester, Nathan and Joanne were visited by judge Alesha Dixon who told him he had been nominated for the show by his dance teacher, prompting him to give Alesha some sarcastic side-eye when she asked if he was willing to appear on the show.
Stepping out onto stage for his audition in a black shirt adorned with sparkling crystals and matching trousers, Nathan informed the judges he would be performing the Cha Cha Cha, prompting new panellist Bruno Tonioli to declare: ‘Yes, darling!’ before a cheeky exchange between the pair followed.

It comes after Simon revealed fellow judge Bruno Tonioli was ‘mortified’ after making THAT blunder with his golden buzzer on Saturday’s series premiere of Britain’s Got Talent.
The former Strictly judge, 67, got into a spot of bother as he excitedly pressed his golden buzzer for Ugandan dance act Ghetto Kids before they’d were finished their performance.
The judges are meant to wait until the end of the act to decide if they want to use the special buzzer but Bruno got overexcited sending the episode into chaos.
Reflecting on the hilarious moment music mogul Simon, 63, told MailOnline exclusively: ‘Well, that was pretty quick! It was the second or third day.
‘I was laughing my head off thinking, ‘You definitely haven’t watched the show, have you?’ And then I thought, ‘Actually, this is brilliant because it has never happened before.’
‘And the act didn’t seem to care. They were happy. I was happy for the group because they really did deserve it.
Oh no! Simon Cowell has revealed fellow judge Bruno Tonioli was ‘mortified’ after making THAT blunder with his golden buzzer on Saturday’s series premiere of Britain’s Got Talent
Whoops! The former Strictly judge, 67, got into a spot of bother as he excitedly pressed his golden buzzer for Ugandan dance act Ghetto Kids before they’d were finished their performance
‘And just looking at Bruno’s face, he was happy. Then when someone ran up to him and said, ‘Well, you’re supposed to do it at the end,’ he was mortified! I said, ‘It doesn’t matter, Bruno. You just gave them the Golden Buzzer. Who cares?’
Bruno also chatted about the fiasco saying: ‘I was watching them thinking, ‘Actually, this is genius’. And I just had to press the golden buzzer. Now, I hold my hands up, I realise now I was supposed to wait until after they’d performed to press it! I just felt it in my bones and went for it!
‘Simon was hysterically laughing. Honestly, I had no idea. Nobody really ever explained that process to me. All I knew was I had a golden buzzer, but they never told me when I was supposed to press it!’
It all descended into chaos as Bruno pressed his golden buzzer halfway through the act’s performance.
He made his debut on the ITV talent show alongside Simon, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon, where he quickly got stuck into enjoying the entertainment on offer.

While it’s customary that the judges or hosts Ant and Dec press this button after the performance, the talented orphans were showered with golden confetti while they danced on stage.
The group, though delighted with the golden buzzer, ploughed on through the performance and put on a great show – despite hardly being able to see through the confetti.
The jaw-dropping moment left both the audience and Bruno’s fellow judges in shock, with Simon declaring that this had ‘never happened’ before.
Watching the scenes unfold at home, viewers were quick to comment on Bruno’s blunder, with many declaring that they loved the chaos he brought to the show.
‘I’m glad Bruno hit his buzzer when he did that was too funny!!’ commented one person.
