Cardi B announced her second pregnancy at the BET Awards back in June. She was far along by then, as she had managed to hide the pregnancy for months through selective Instagrams and video posing. While we were happy for Cardi, it continues to feel like Offset is pretty manipulative when it comes to Cardi, and he is her Achilles heel. For someone who is so smart everywhere else, Cardi is dumb in relationships. Still, they’re together. For now. And she welcomed a son a few days ago:

Cardi B is officially a mom of two! The “I Like It” rapper, 28, and husband Offset, 29, welcomed their second child together, a son, on Saturday, Sept. 4, Cardi announced on Instagram Monday. Cardi shared the exciting news alongside a photo of her cradling her baby boy in her hospital bed while sitting next to Offset. In the picture, Cardi and Offset look lovingly down at their son while the “WAP” singer sits underneath a Louis Vuitton blanket.

“9/4/21,” Cardi captioned the sweet family photo.

“We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son,” the couple said in a statement shared with PEOPLE. “He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can’t wait to introduce him to his other siblings.”

Cardi and Offset are already parents to 3-year-old daughter Kulture. Offset is also dad to daughter Kalea, 6, and sons Kody, 6, and Jordan, 11, from previous relationships.

They haven’t released the name, but I’m guessing it’s something off-beat, just like Kulture. I love that she brought her Louis Vuitton blanket from home! In pre-pandemic times, I think most delivery rooms would let parents bring blankets and pillows from home, but I think that changed during the pandemic, when women were giving birth while wearing masks and such. The blue baby blanket is really cute too. God, I hope Offset realizes what a good thing he has with Cardi and he stops cheating on her constantly.

Also: a Virgo baby!! Cardi is a Libra, Kulture is a Cancer and Offset is a Sagittarius (like Taylor Swift). Signs matter to Cardi. Libras & Virgos are tight.
