She added: “So happy with everything so far.

“This will be the 22nd year I’ve hosted the Pride of Britain awards.

“A few wonderful surprises coming your way.”

Carol has presented the Pride of Britain Awards since 1999, and has no desire to finish any time soon.

Last year Carol wore a sensational royal blue dress that featured a long sleeved glitter top.

She completed her stunning look with long sleek hair and a natural makeup look.

Last year the Awards were held remotely due to Covid, with Carol speaking to the Mirror at the time about it.

She said: “It will be strange and that’s why I know I’ll be in absolute buckets. I’ll be a wreck.

“I’m really sad I can’t be with everybody.”

With Covid restrictions back to normal this year, there will be a new excitement at the awards ceremony.
