Charley Webb discusses the ‘pressures’ of lockdown
Emmerdale star Charley Webb, 31, came to the aid of a warehouse worker, who lost their managerial position during the current coronavirus pandemic. The Debbie Dingle actress was among three others who assisted the person in question after they retweeted his plea for help.
It comes after the social media user took to Twitter and explained that they had recently lost their job.
They wrote: “Lost my job today. I’ve been in warehousing all my working life. 19 years managerial experience with a track record for coaching, training and mentoring people to gain a first time promotion.
“I’m now willing to just be an operative as I just want to work. Any RT appreciated.”
Charley was quick to share the message in view of her 432,000 followers.

She penned: “I hope someone reads this that can help.”
The Emmerdale actress was not alone as former Brookside actor Michael Starke, Labour MP Jim McMahon and Planet Radio presenter Mike Toolan also retweeted the post.
The social media user has since shared some exciting news, saying they had secured a new job.
They penned: “Can I please say an extra special thanks to @MissCharleyWebb @JimfromOldham @MichaelStarke57 and @Toolyboy for retweeting my post last week and giving me added exposure to my job search.
“I accepted a job offer this morning and it came about through Twitter. Thank you all so much.”
The mum-of-three retweeted the congratulatory news as she penned another message.
Charley wrote: “This makes Twitter worth it,” followed by a heart emoji.
Fans were quick to comment, as they too offered their well wishes to the social media user who hailed from Oldham.

Elsewhere, the Debbie Dingle actress recently opened up about her struggles in lockdown.
Charley, who is married to her co-star Matthew Wolfenden (who portrays David Metcalfe), share sons, Buster, 10, five-year-old Bowie, and one-year-old Ace.
She said Bowie refused to do his schoolwork and the TV star didn’t want to force him to do it.
“Bowie had his Zoom and then he had a little bit of work to do, and he didn’t want to do it. He said, ‘Nope,'” Charleyexplained.
“I said, ‘Alright. No problem. Don’t do it.’ I’m not having those battles. I just can’t.”
Charley later assured fans that she is doing a lot better as she showcased her new loungewear.
