Consequence Rips Pusha T for Cutting Ties With Kanye West: ‘I’m Disgusted’

Consequence believes that the ‘If You Know You Know’ spitter abandoned the Yeezy designer amid backlash against him over his anti-Semitic comments as Push’s gunning for his Grammy.

AceShowbizConsequence weighed in on Pusha T‘s resignation from his position as G.O.O.D Music’s president amid backlash against Kanye West over his anti-Semitic comments. During a new interview, Consequence blasted Pusha T for abandoning his partner.

“When I see something like that, I’m conflicted,” Consequence said on “The Art of Dialogue”. “I’m disgusted because of a multitude of reasons. And they aren’t all directed at Pusha T.”

He went on to recall the amount of work he and Ye put into establishing the label, adding that Pusha T only entered the picture afterward. While he understood the pushback surrounding the “Donda” artist, he asked, “We’re not going to stick together?”

“Pusha T told you all the street s**t and now we doing this industry s**t? Nah. Now, in fairness, does Pusha T have a right to distance himself from situations he don’t want to be in? Yeah,” Consequence continued. “He a man. Do those two have grievances behind the scenes that are not being spoke about? Yes, they do. So part of this s**t is kinda cap.”

He also revealed that Pusha T hadn’t been the president of G.O.O.D Music for some time. “The whole G.O.O.D. Music president s**t? That’s cap,” he continued. “There was no G.O.O.D. Music president shit, n***a. That s**t is cap. It ain’t been that s**t for years.” “When n***a kickin’ some resignation s**t, there ain’t no resignation s**t. Just say you mad about the Donda 3 party in Chicago when he ain’t let you on stage. Say that,” he noted.

Consequence also believed that Pusha T was cutting ties with Ye as he’s gunning for his Grammy at the time. Despite that, he thought the two might repair their relationship in the future.

“They may communicate and find resolve to that situation,” he shared. “But as it stands, I don’t f**k with that ’cause I expect more out of Pusha T, honestly. This n***a base everything he stand for on the streets. I ain’t saying you gotta support it or not. If Pusha T wins a Grammy, Ye did half the album. So what? You’re not going to thank him? Or you gonna thank him and act like you ain’t say you resigned?”

“At the end of the day, it was all good when they n***s were doing the Puff dance in the ‘Diet Coke’ video. You gotta stay like that or you don’t,” Consequence concluded.
