Coronation Street's Rebecca Ryan has given birth to her first child – a baby girl.

The 32 year old actress, best-known for playing Lydia Chambers in Corrie and Debbie Gallagher in Shameless, announced her daughter's arrival into the world by posting a gorgeous snap on Instagram.

The tiny baby could be seen with her eyes closed whilst dressed in a cute little babygrow, as her proud mum captioned the post: "Welcome to the world my beautiful baby girl Aurora."

Her followers rushed to comment their congratulations, as one wrote: "Huge Congratulations, she’s beautiful."
