Cruz Beckham is the first of the Beckham family to break their silence after it was reported that their London home had been burgled last month.
The 17 year old took to TikTok and Instagram Stories hours after news broke of the break-in, which was alleged to have occurred at the Beckham’s £40 million mansion in Holland Park, London.
A thief reportedly forced their way into the premises into a spare bedroom upstairs as Victoria and David Beckham and their 10 year old daughter Harper were downstairs unaware.
It wasn’t until Cruz returned home after an evening out with friends that he allegedly discovered that the room had been “ransacked” while a window had also been broken and told his unsuspecting family.
Despite the alleged troubling incident, it appeared that Cruz had recent events behind him as he posted a short clip of himself on social media on Wednesday.
In the clip, the teenager could be seen staring straight into the camera whilst smiling and wearing a grey hoodie with the caption: “Duuude” added.
Cruz looked in happy spirits as he flashed his nose stud and multiple earrings in the brief video shared with his millions of followers on both Instagram and Tik Tok.
His post comes as brother Romeo uploaded his first photo on Instagram since the reported burglary, of himself standing in a sunny location wearing a black printed T-shirt, a pair of grey slouchy shorts, black sunglasses and a silver neck chain.
Cruz reportedly informed his parents of their house being broken into on 28 February, leading David to call the police while Victoria stayed with daughter Harper.
Although neither Victoria or David have publicly addressed the reported incident, the Met police confirmed that a burglary did take place within the area.
A Met spokesperson told the Daily Mail: “Police were called at 00.37 hours on Tuesday, March 1 to reports of a burglary at a residential address in the W11 area of Kensington.
“The burglary is believed to have taken place between 20.30 and 23.30 on Monday, February 28.
“A number of items were reported stolen. No arrests have been made. Inquiries continue.”
It is said that David was left particularly “shaken up” by the alleged break in as a source told The Sun: “Sadly the Beckhams were the victims of some fairly professional thieves who have been operating in the area.
“Fortunately the criminals only made it as far as one bedroom before they ran off.
“The thieves had broken through a window and darted straight back out of the same one with a small number of items. Luckily none had a huge amount of sentimental value to the family."
