Dani Dyer has described her dad Danny as her 'strength' following her recent split from boyfriend Sammy Kimmence, sources tell OK!.
The former Love Island star split from ex Sammy last month after he was sentenced to three years in jail and has recently been enjoying a holiday with her family and seven month old son Santiago.
Speaking to OK!, a source has told how the whole Dyer family has "rallied around Dani after her split from Sammy."
They continued: "But dad Danny has been especially supportive and been there for her throughout. He's her strength. They're all trying to stay strong and they won't let what happened with Sammy affect them as a family."
The source added: "Dani has said it's tough going through this ordeal and facing life as a single mum but she's got her family to help her through it."
Sources close to the former Love Island winner recently revealed she suffered the "worst week of her life" following her split from Sammy.
Sammy was jailed for defrauding two pensioners and reports have suggested that police trained in financial forensics may visit the couple’s former home together to compile an inventory of Sammy’s assets to recoup the money he stole.
A source told new! that Dani, who is understood to have split from Sammy shortly after he was handed a 42-month sentence, was starting to feel it all “kick in”.
They claimed: “It’s been a hard week for Dani. She says it’s been one of the worst weeks of her life. The reality of what’s happened is starting to hit home now.
“It was all a bit of a blur for her but it has started to really kick in now that she’s facing life as a single mum."
"Her family are so supportive and have been rallying round her – but that doesn’t replace having a partner by your side," they continued.
"She’s finding it tough. She’s a single mum and she now has to bring Santi up on her own – which is something she never thought would happen. The Dyers are a close-knit family and Dani hoped to have that with her own family.”

After initially denying allegations of defrauding two pensioners out of nearly £34,000, Sammy, 25, pleaded guilty in April to five counts of fraud. He was sentenced on 14 July at Portsmouth Crown Court.
Dani dated Sammy before she headed into the Love Island villa, where she met and fell for Jack Fincham, 30. But by April 2019, Dani and Jack had split and she had reunited with Sammy.
