EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy – who is best known as Sonia Fowler on the BBC soap – has proudly broken the stigma by showing off her grey hair on her social media.
Natalie, 38, said to her followers alongside a clip: "I thought to myself 'Can I post today?' Just got home from work… I'm very very lucky, I finished early today."
Pointing to her greys, she said: "Bit grey… ah who cares? Doesn't matter does it? I just had to do this, I know it's boring, I'm squinting – the sun is out!
"How much better does it make you feel?! Thank you! Yes please we'll have some more of you! Don't shy away from it!
"Come and see it, we all feel excellent today because of you. Glorious! See you later."
Natalie's co-star Bobby Brazier commented underneath the video: "Glasses are unreal."
"I bloody love you! Your posts cheer me up!" one fan also added, while a second said: "Too bloody true! Sun please stay! Must have known it was a hot pink kinda day!"
A third shared: "Absolutely love your posts they are all spot on ..dont always care attitude. makes me smile anyway ..Happy Monday x."
Natalie has since shared her thoughts on homeschooling, revealing she "always makes it fun" for her children.
The star hit back in a new post after a troll criticised her parenting choices amid the large Teacher strike.
"Home schooling this morning. Is it mad that I actually miss it a little bit?!? I have always loved learning with my kids at home, I have always bought lots of books to do if we have any available time," she wrote on Instagram.
"I’m not saying we do loads as they need to chill out and watch the telly- but I have always made it fun and I do believe it has helped with their learning."
The actress continued: "So I shall enjoy this morning ( for about an hour until she gets something wrong and rips the book up- she’s a perfectionist ) and support the teachers today."
Natalie was inundated with comments from her followers, with one writing: "Let the poor thing have a day off learning and let her chill its only one day ffs."
However, another backed the star as they shared: "Thanks for the support. No-one goes into teaching wanting to strike.
"We love being in the classroom with the children. Education needs proper funding.!"
"Fair play to you, I'm glad someone is supporting the teachers x," a third wrote to the doting mother.
Natalie is mother to 11 year old Eliza – who she shares with ex Adam Cottrell – and five-year-old Joanie, who she welcomed in 2016 with her husband to be, Marc.
