The Presidential Inaugural Committee has announced that Bruce Springsteen, John Legend and the Foo Fighters will perform during the “Celebrating America” primetime special that will cap the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on January 20.
Springsteen, Legend and the Foo Fighters will perform from iconic locations across the country, joining previously announced performers Demi Lovato, Justin Timberlake, Ant Clemons and Jon Bon Jovi.
Additional performances will be announced ahead of January 20, the PIC said in a press release.
“Celebrating America” will be hosted by Tom Hanks from 8:30-10:30 p.m. ET/PT and will showcase the American people’s resilience, heroism, and unified commitment to coming together as a nation to heal and rebuild, it added. The 90-minute program will also feature remarks from Biden and Harris, among others.
Actors Eva Longoria and Kerry Washington will introduce segments throughout the night ranging from stories of young people making a difference in their communities to musical performances.
