Glass Animals’ ‘Heat Waves’ Holds Onto Top Spot On Billboard Hot 100

Glass Animals‘ “Heat Waves” continues to reign over the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a fifth week.

“Heat Waves,” released on Wolf Tone/Polydor/Republic Records, drew 65.1 million radio airplay audience impressions and 14.8 million U.S. streams, down 2% in each metric, and sold 2,800 downloads, down 3%, in the March 25-31 tracking week, according to Luminate, formerly MRC Data.

Four weeks ago, “Heat Waves” set a new record after the track took 59 weeks to reach the top spot.

“Heat Waves,” a single from the album Dreamland, was released in June 2020 and debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated January 16, 2021.

The track also earned a fourth week at No. 1 on the Radio Songs chart and stayed at No. 3 on Streaming Songs but dropped to the 24th spot from 20 on Digital Song Sales.
