Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay had a narrow escape after a giant tree was uprooted near his home amid Storm Eunice. The Hell’s Kitchen star’s south west London home luckily stayed safe after it was almost hit by a massive mature tree, which crashed into a brick wall in between two neighbouring properties.

A shocking snap showed the tree on its side after being blown over by the 122mph storms, blocking both the road and pavement.
Attending the scene, tree surgeons tirelessly worked to chop the evergreen in sections before removing it from the road.
Gordon’s neighbours will now undoubtedly now be tasked with rebuilding the wall after it was damaged by the trunk.
The fiery chef, 55, shares his home with his wife-of-16-years Tana, daughters, Megan, 23, Holly, 22, Matilda, 20, and sons, Jack, 22, and Oscar, two.
The star also owns a £4.4million holiday home in Cornwall, which he regularly visits with his brood.
Gordon has previously shared snaps of what his home looks like with his social media following.
In a clip of him and Tilly dancing, the duo can be seen performing in a room with plenty of skylights and a white tiled floor.
In another video, the star showcases Oscar’s playroom, complete with a monochromatic colour scheme and furniture.
The Ramsay family’s lucky escape comes days after Gordon’s daughter Holly shared some touching advice she received from her father.
When quizzed during an Instagram Stories Q&A, she revealed the top life tips the Hell’s Kitchen star has passed down to her.
“One thing that your dad always tells you about life which can help us all grow?” one of her 287,000 followers questioned.
“Work hard, play hard,” she answered.
“Find something you love doing because then it will never feel like work.
“Family first, always [and] be kind.”
She also hinted that she felt able to talk to her 55-year-old father in times of crisis.
A fan asked her for “advice on how to cope with anxiety on a daily basis when you haven’t even told parents”.
She replied: “You should talk to somebody about how you’re feeling”, adding that it “could be a parent”, or a sibling or friend.
She added: “Hold on to small things like family dinners after school and everyone living in the same house because you’ll miss it when you’re older and don’t all live at home – and be in the moment!”
Gordon has previously spoken about how proud he is of Holly after she celebrated a year of being sober.
Commenting on a post on Instagram, Gordan branded his daughter an “incredible young lady”.
