Hugh Jackman’s incredible act of kindness as blind boy’s first day of school goes viral on Instagram
Hugh Jackman has asked fans to help him get in contact with a blind boy whose first day of school went viral on Instagram.
The Australian actor, 54, reposted a video to his social media of a boy named Ashton as he navigated his way around the school using a white cane.
In the video, Ashton’s mother asked other kids to ‘be kind’ and include students who may ‘look or act different’.
‘Hi everyone… if you know how I can be in touch with Ashton please dm me,’ Hugh captioned the post.
‘I’d like to wish him an amazing new school year. Thanks for the help.’

The post comes after Hugh recently shared a rare photo with his sister Zoe during a family outing in London.
Unable to wipe the smiles off their faces, the Wolverine star was seen putting his arm around his older sister in a sweet photo he shared with his Instagram followers.
‘I am so grateful for my sister Zoe,’ he captioned the picture.
Fans were shocked to see how much the pair look alike as they flocked to the comments to gush over the Jackman duo.
‘Wolverine and Wolverina,’ one person wrote, while another said: ‘She looks just like you or you look just like her.’
A third added: ‘Unmistakable Jackman eyes the two of you share plus adoring love.’

‘Bruh she literally looks like him. I thought I was baked af seeing two Hugh Jackman’s,’ someone else wrote.
Jackman had previously revealed the siblings grew up in different countries following their parents’ divorce.
Hugh was eight years old when his mother Grace left and moved back to the UK from Australia, which he has previously described as a ‘traumatic’ experience.
The Hollywood star remained in Australia with his late father Christopher and two older brothers Ralph and Ian, while his mother took sisters Zoe and Sonya with her.

‘It was traumatic,’ Hugh once told Who magazine. ‘I thought she was probably going to come back. And then it sort of dragged on and on.’
He said it wasn’t until he was ’12 or 13′ that he realised his mother wouldn’t return, and he saw her around ‘once a year’ after she left.
‘I remember her being in a towel around her head and saying goodbye. [It] must have been the way she said goodbye,’ he said.
‘As I went off to school, when I came back, there was no one there in the house. The next day there was a telegram from England. Mum was there. And then that was it. Dad used to pray every night that mum would come back,’ he added.
