Former BBC Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles, 48, angered some viewers with his opening remarks on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2022 last night. The Radio X presenter introduced himself to his fellow campmates by saying he was the “best broadcaster of my generation”.

Some viewers were angered after Chris made the comment, accusing him of being “full of himself”.

ITV fans took to Twitter to vent their frustrations after what was said during the show’s initial meet and greet.

Deejay wrote: “‘I am Chris Moyles and I am the greatest broadcaster of my generation…’

“Spelt Simon Jordan wrong pal. How dare he insult Simon like that. Fuming now.” (sic)

“Those who have listened to Chris for years will know it’s just him and fun, don’t stress over it.” (sic)
