I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! South Africa star Paul Burrell has sparked a new feud outside of the camp with Loose Women star Janet Street Porter.
The 76 year old panellist hit out at the former Royal butler's sensational claims in the jungle following the jam-packed launch episode.
Paul, who worked directly with The Queen and Princess Diana during his time with Buckingham Palace, has been causing drama since his arrival.
During the stars' first task, which saw 64 year old Paul, Janice Dickinson and Shaun Ryder, who could be set to cause "World War 3" in camp following the arrival of Gillian McKeith, all faced with a river cruise that came complete with creepy critters, the former had a meltdown when he had a navigate a snake to get to his star.
And as he chatted about his experience on the show back in 2004, 19 years ago, Paul recalled sharing the camp with Janet.
Happy Mondays singer Shaun, 60, was impressed that Paul had been on the show with the red-head journalist, and said encouragingly: "She's great."
"She is," Paul replied, before claiming: "I think we are sort of friends."
But having watched the launch show, Janet didn't hold back on the truth on the latest Loose Women.
As Ruth Langsford asked if Paul's comments that he and Janet were friends were true, the latter laughed.
"When I say the words, myth versus reality."
"Recollections may vary," Ruth cheekily then offered, clearly referring to the now-infamous statement made by Buckingham Palace following claims made by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry during their Oprah Winfrey interview.
Going on to put any question of she and Paul spending time together in the outside world to bed, Janet confirmed the former Royal staff member had never been to her house, and said they simply had to get by in the jungle camp.
"It was more a question of tolerating him," she said bluntly, before admitting that one of viewers' greatest bug bears about the star – that he always talked about his time with the Royals – was actually not quite true.
"The thing about Paul is they [the producers] wanted him to talk about being a Royal butler," Janet explained.
"But he didn't want to talk about it. I kept getting someone [telling me] to go to the diary room and saying 'get him to talk about the corgis!'"
It comes as the show has already revealed one of its jaw-dropping surprises by bringing back the most controversial star in I'm A Celeb history with You Are What You Eat TV presenter Gillian McKeith.
What's more, Shaun and Gillian had various rows and didn't get on during their time in camp together in 2010, and it looks as though their feud could be reunited.
I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! South Africa continues weeknights at 9pm on ITV.
