It's safe to say that this year's I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has had its fair share of drama, right from the start. However, one campmate has recently revealed all, including a brewing clash between two of the biggest names in the jungle.
To recap, Italian jockey Frankie Dettori's time in camp came to an end this weekend after he was the first celeb to be voted off this season. While talking to hosts Ant and Dec in his departure interview, the 52 year old spilled the tea on jungle life, and opened up about the conflict between First Dates' Fred Sirieix and This Morning's Josie Gibson.
Fans will know that last night's episode saw things get slightly heated between Fred and Josie after camp leader Nella Rose banished the French maître d'hôtel from the kitchen and put him on washing up duties instead. Over the course of the series, Fred has been doing most of the cooking after he self-appointed himself head chef status upon arrival.
Nella's decision to switch things up a little saw Fred express to EastEnders' star Danielle Harold that he wished "she would listen" to him in terms of what to do in the kitchen. "She just wants to do what she wants to do, but she hardly cooks at home," he said.
Fred likened the situation to asking Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson to teach him boxing even though professional boxer Tony Bellew is there.
While Josie asked Fred if he would leave her be to get on with the dinner, Frankie has since expressed that there could be a potential escalation if the issue isn't addressed.
"We had a bit of an incident last night, a bit of a clash," he told Ant and Dec, before adding that there are "too many chefs in the kitchen."
Tony Bellew also chimed in on the awkward moment after he shared his feelings in private in the Bush Telegraph. The 41 year old said that "no one wants a full scale argument, but it's brewing."
"If this situation stays the same, it will escalate."
After being quizzed about who is the better chef by the Saturday Night Takeaway stars outside of camp, Frankie didn't hesitate to admit that Fred's cooking skills are more refined.
However, the episode did see Fred compliment Josie on her dish and dub it as "delicious" as the tensions simmered down. So hopefully it means that order is restored in camp and everyone can get along!
