Dame Joan Collins is best known for her voluminous raven hair and isn’t one to shy away from lighter shades.
Dame Joan Collins previously took to Instagram and uploaded a comedy sketch where she cheekily took aim at her character’s nemesis Krystle Carrington (played by Linda Evans).
In the lighthearted video, the actress traded places as she opted to play Krystle while her character Alexis Carrington Colby was played by a stand-in who decided to give the Dynasty star a makeover.
Joan rocked a dishevelled blonde wig as the on-screen star looked unrecognisable following the dramatic transformation.
Looking in the mirror at her finished look, Joan gushed: “Oh Alexis. I love it. My hair looks fantastic. It’s so punk. I never knew you were so talented. It’s a whole new me.”
Alexis is a fictional character on the American TV series Dynasty. She is the ex-wife of Blake Carrington (John Forsythe) whose schemes cause one problem after another for him and their children. She also attempts to undermine his marriage with Krystle.

This was not the first time Joan Collins switched brunette for blonde as she’s seen brushing a blonde wig on her head, preparing to play the role of Marilyn Monroe in the play ‘Legend’, in 1973.
