It is reported that the actress co-signed the $450,000 bond to get her brother Christopher Fox out from Rikers Island jail after he was arrested for running a ghost gun peddling operation.

AceShowbiz –Julia Fox co-signed her brother’s bail bond after he was busted for allegedly running a ghost gun peddling operation out of his Upper East Side apartment. It was reported on Monday, March 13 that the actress co-signed the $450,000 bond to get her brother Christopher Fox out from Rikers Island jail.

After posting the bond, he was awaiting to be released following an appearance in Manhattan Criminal Court on Monday. He left the courthouse shortly after 6 P.M., hopping into a waiting black Jeep Wagoneer with his father. He’s set to be back in court on May 4.

The bail receipt showed that the “Uncut Gems” actress and her parents signed off on the bond. She additionally listed her occupation as “actress/model” with the word “retired” penciled in. The bond was secured with assets belonging to her and Christopher’s dad Thomas Fox, who was taken into custody along with his son but has not been charged.

Celebrity bail bondsman Ira Judelson, who posted the bond, claimed to The Post, “Of course Ms. Fox seemed upset.” Ira continued, “It is her brother.”

According to Manhattan prosecutors, Christopher was arrested last week and hit with a slew of charges for allegedly using 3D printers to create gun parts that could be assembled and sold as untraceable “ghost guns.” Authorities claimed that Christopher cashed in on about $345,000 in illicit gun sales through his CashApp account between April 2020 and January 2023.

Police additionally found drug paraphernalia and chemicals in his apartment, including pressure cookers, fentanyl, chloroform, heroin, crack and cocaine. “The defendant possessed enough gun parts to assemble an assault weapon-style rifle,” Assistant District Attorney Cyril Heron said at Christopher’s arraignment late Thursday.

In the wake of the arrest, friends of Julia told Page Six that she was “heartbroken” by the news because they didn’t have a prior criminal history. Kanye West‘s ex-girlfriend thinks her brother Chris is “brilliant,” though “he’s struggled to believe in himself enough to put his mind to use.”
