Kerry Katona has issued a warning to Love Islanders leaving the villa in an exclusive interview with OK!
Kerry, has been in the spotlight for over two decades and knows a thing or two about fame. She urged the budding reality stars to “breathe, take it all in and really stop and look around at all the people in your life.”
The mum-of-four continued: “Think who was really there for you and who is there to make money off you."
Kerry also had some practical advice for the islanders: “Really pause and do your research on who you're taking on as an agent. Who's got good reviews, who's been around the longest?”
She added that the contestants should of course “enjoy” their newfound fame and “take it all in.” However, after 20 years in show business, Kerry knows better than anyone that fame is a fickle friend.
“If you want a long career, work your a** off,” she advised. “By all means attend the parties, but leave straight after. Those who do the hard graft stay around the longest.”

Kerry’s comments come not too long after the former Atomic Kitten star’s daughter Lilly revealed that she turned down a spot on the popular dating show after being approached by producers.
Lily McFadden – daughter of Kerry and her first husband Brian McFadden – explained that the show would be her “worst nightmare” as she “hates” PDAs.
During our interview, Kerry revealed that Lily has hopes to become a human rights lawyer, but said that her 18 year old is “dipping her toe in and out” of the showbiz industry.

“For me, it makes more sense that the kids come into the industry because it's all they've ever known and I can guide them,” she explained.
Kerry added: “If my kid wants to be a human rights lawyer, a lollipop lady, a page three model, a doctor, a dentist. Anything my kids want to do, if they're passionate about it and happy, then they have my complete support.”
Kerry is currently gearing up to her fourth marriage with fiance Ryan Mahoney, 32. Like any bride to be, she’s been on the hunt for the perfect wedding gown to make her big day that extra bit special.
