Kim Kardashian Claps Back Against Accusations She Photoshopped Her Belly Button on Instagram

What started out as a photo dump of quintessentially Kim K pics turned into a bit of a frenzy when tabloids reported that another Kardashian family member Photoshopped their Instagrams. Only this time, Kim Kardashian took to her Stories to address the rumors head-on.

But first! A look at the evidence:

I don’t know about you, but the first thing I think of when I look at these photos is the fact that I, too, would enjoy being surrounded by a pool and (presumably) warm weather. However (!!) Insta users were quick to hop into the star’s comments section to point out Kim’s *zooms into photo* not-there belly button?

And though personally, I am infinitely more intrigued by the “Pete took these” comment (wouldn’t you wanna know?!), the focal point of the comments seemed to Photoshop accusations, with some users asking, “Where is your bellybutton Kim?” and “#WheresKimsBellyButton.”

Evidently, Kimberly noted the bevy of comments because two days later, she used screenshots of articles written by Page Six and the Daily Mail to shut it all down. “Come on guys…Seriously! This is so dumb! Claiming I photoshopped out my belly button????” the celeb rhetorically asked her 305 million Insta followers.

In a third slide, the Skims founder pulled a Kris Jenner by re-focusing people’s attention to her shapewear brand, adding,”Belly button insecurities? Well…why don’t you head on over to skims.com to conceal that saggy belly button of yours with a great pair of high waisted underwear like I did! You’re welcome!!!”

Kim isn’t the only Kardashian sister catching heat for Photoshopping pics as of late. Recently, Khloé accidentally came clean about photos of True and Chicago that were posted on Kim’s account. People noted something about the series of images was definitely off, and a TikTok even went viral after it exposed screenshots of Stormi and Chicago in the same outfits that actually date back to October 2021. Oops!

if you’re wondering where i’ve been, ive been preparing content for the launch of my podcast @she/her/liar in the new year. follow for updates!!!

However, in yet another Kris-approved move, Khloé took to Twitter to respond in a refreshingly light-hearted way and just as swiftly used the moment to announce the family’s new show.
