Louise Redknapp breaks social media silence after arrival of ex Jamie’s baby

Louise Redknapp, 47, has broken her social media silence in the wake of her ex husband Jamie, 48, welcoming a new baby boy.

Sharing a photograph of herself on her story, Louise, who shares two sons with Jamie, plugged her clothing edit with Peacocks.

Louise stunned in a khaki green hooded coat as she looked off into the distance.

She wrote alongside the snap: “It’s definitely coat weather,” followed by a link to Peacocks and “#LouiseRedknappEdit”.

This is the first time the mum of two has posted sinceJamie announced the arrival of his son, named Raphael, on Wednesday 24 November.

Sharing a sweet photograph of himself lying on a bed next to his newborn son, the ex-footballer penned: “Meet Raphael Anders Redknapp, we’re so in love, mum is doing so well too.

“We can’t thank the amazing doctors and nurses at the Chelsea and Westminster enough.”

“So excited for him to meet my boys,” he added.

Jamie’s eldest sons are Charley, 17, and 13 year old Beau.

As Jamie settles into his new life with wife Frida Andersson, whom he married in October, and baby Raphael, Louise is reportedly beingencouraged by her teenage sons to find someone new herself.

A source told OK!: “Louise would like to find someone, but it hasn’t been that easy. She’s got to learn to love herself before loving someone else again.

“Her confidence has been knocked. Even though she and Jamie have been parted for a few years now, she spent the majority of her life with him and the two kids, so it is a big change.”

Meanwhile,Louise herself said earlier this month: “(Charley and Beau) always say: ‘When are you going to [date]?’ Dating just takes time.

"I do eight shows in five days [Louise is currently in 9 To 5: The Musical] and on my days off, going out and having a social life is not my priority.

"It’s being a mum and stocking up the fridge. All my boys care about is me being happy – whatever that is.”

She added: "It sounds basic, but I’ve got two things that are really important to me right now: my kids, because I want to be a solid part of their life, and my work.

"Right now, that’s enough for me, I’m not saying forever. I’m learning to just be OK with myself. I’m not loving myself, but I’ve been OK. I’m getting there."
