He said at the time: ‘We are perfect. We’ve got two dogs so we’ve got a proper little family going, it’s lovely.

‘We’re just enjoying things that we’ve got at the minute and then family and marriage will eventually come into it.’
Callum explained that viewers of the dating show judge islanders but only see a segment of each day: ‘People can judge from an outside perspective. Obviously they don’t see 24 hours of Love Island, they only see 60 minutes so people can obviously judge but we’re still together
‘That was the main thing I went in there for so yeah, I’d say we’ve proved a few people wrong.’
Reflecting on his experience, he said: ‘I didn’t think I was going to get a girlfriend and we were gonna live together. I was really open minded and the thing I really wanted was to find someone
‘Obviously it’s not 100% when you go in there that you are going to get that but we got lucky and we are still there.’
