Marilyn Manson turns himself in to police for 2019 spitting incident… after a fourth woman sues rocker over sexual assault allegations

• Manson was quickly booked and released according to sources
• He was released on personal recognizance bail under the conditions that he won’t commit any crimes or contact the alleged victim

Marilyn Manson has turned himself into police for an alleged spitting incident which took place in 2019.

The 52-year-old rocker was the subject of a New Hampshire arrest warrant in May over charges stemming from an August 2019 incident where he allegedly spat at a female videographer before blowing his nose ‘at her’ during a concert at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion.

Manson handed himself over to law enforcement officials last week, according to TMZ, whose sources added that the musician/painter was booked and released shortly afterwards.

Manson – real name Brian Warner – was released on personal recognizance bail under the conditions that he won’t commit any crimes while on release, won’t have any contact with the alleged victim, and will appear at all of his court hearings.

The Beautiful People hitmaker had a warrant for his arrest issued almost two months ago by Guildford Police Department, who revealed he was wanted on two counts of misdemeanor simple assault.

In a statement at the time, the department said: ‘Mr. Warner, his Agent and legal counsel have been aware of the warrant for some time and no effort has been made by him to return to New Hampshire to answer the pending charges. 

‘The videographer had been subcontracted by a NH-based company to video the concert, and had been located in the stage pit area when the alleged assaults occurred.’

Several eyewitnesses then came forward to claim that Manson had allegedly been ‘spitting everywhere’ at the time of the incident, and had begun targeting the woman after she ‘looked semi-irritated’.

‘He noticed this and kept purposely spitting on her camera. I think her final straw is he got on the floor, got within 2-3 feet of her and hacked a giant snot rocket at her not the camera. She was pissed off and disgusted so she stormed off and he just laughed.

‘I stopped listening to his music after that and told my husband I would never go to another one of his concerts again.’

While another concert goer said Manson allegedly ‘laughed’ about his actions.

They added: ‘[He] bent down to shoot his snot all over this woman. I can remember him just laughing about what he did.’

His arrest over the spitting incident comes after a fourth woman stepped forward to sue him over sexual assault allegations.

Model Ashley Smithline, 36, submitted her complaint in the Federal District Court for the Central District of California last month, outlining allegations that the rocker raped, whipped, burned and cut her.

The model also claims Manson ‘branded’ her by carving his initials into her thigh with a ‘knife emblazoned with a swastika.’

She is one of 15 women, according to People, to accuse Manson of sexual, psychological and physical abuse, in addition to actress Evan Rachel Wood, Esmé Bianco and Manson’s former assistant Ashley Walters.  

‘I survived a monster,’ Smithline told People in May. She first disclosed the alleged abuse in an Instagram post in February, according to the Cut.

Manson has since denied all claims, referring to them as ‘horrible distortions of reality’ that misrepresent consensual relationships with ‘like-minded partners.’ 

As of February, Manson was under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for alleged abuse, the department told DailyMail.com at the time. It’s unclear if he’s still under investigation.

In May, Walters sued her former boss for sexual assault, battery and harassment, claiming that Mason made her work 48-hours straight and occasionally groped and kissed her.

Smithline said Mason first contacted her around the summer of 2010, allegedly telling her that he wanted to cast her in a remake of True Romance, according to the suit.

The suit claims the musician became infatuated with Smithline, telling her she ‘was the perfect girl for him’ and asking her to send photos of herself.  

In November of that year, Manson flew Smithline to Los Angeles from Bangkok, where she was modeling at the time, asking her to move in with him soon after she arrived, the suit says.

Both entered into a consensual sexual relationship, but according to the lawsuit ‘it quickly became apparent that consensual sex was not enough’ for him.   

Three other women are suing Manson for alleged abuse 

There are three other women aside from Ashley Smithline who have sued Marilyn Manson for claims of abuse:

In April, Game of Thrones actress Esmé Bianco was the first woman to file a lawsuit against Manson, alleging that the singer raped and sexually battered her

The complaint, filed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, claims that Manson violated human-trafficking laws by bringing Bianco from London to Los Angeles under the pretense that she would be acting in a music video 

In May, Ashley Walters, 37, a former assistant to Manson, was the second woman to file a lawsuit against her boss for sexual assault, battery and harassment in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County

Walters said Manson’s campaign of abuse began soon after they first met in 2010, when the shock rocker claimed her photography had caught his eye.

He tried to sexually assault her the first time they met up for a photo shoot at his West Hollywood home, according to the suit.

The third is a woman who has chosen to remain anonymous. 

She is also among more than a dozen women to allege sexual impropriety against Warner.    

One day in mid-November, Smithline said she awoke to find her wrists and ankles bound as Manson sexually assaulted her, according to the complaint. 

When she told him to stop, Smithline said Manson told her to ‘shut the f**k up’ and ‘be quiet,’ the suit says.

In addition, Smithline said Manson bruised her ribs in the incident and caused injury to her vagina, the suit says.

‘He kept telling me, ‘You can’t rape someone that you’re in love with,’ Smithline said of the assault in the People interview. 

She also claims the singer repeatedly locked her in a small, soundproof glass enclosure he referred to as ‘the bad girls’ room.’ 

Under a separate ‘unlawful imprisonment’ claim within the lawsuit, Smithline states that Manson would confiscate her phone, bind her with rope, and lock her up. 

‘All of this served to manipulate and further control her,’ the complaint reads. 

He wanted to ‘weaken her physically and mentally and decrease her ability to refuse him.’

Shortly after she moved in, Mnason isolated Smithline from friends and family, according to the lawsuit. 

Smithline says she was constantly terrified because Manson would often threaten to kill her if she tried to leave. 

In January 2013, Smithline finally left the relationship for good.

She recalls not realizing the full extent of the psychological and emotional trauma until last fall, when she spoke with women who shared their own ’emotional, physical, verbal and sexual abuse’ by the singer, the complaint states. 

Although Smithline still deals with mental-health issues like PTSD and panic attacks, she hopes that the lawsuit will hold Warner accountable and prevent him from harming anyone else. 

‘I don’t think I’ll ever feel completely safe,’ Smithline said in a statement, according to the Cut, ‘and I certainly will not feel whole until I know he’s been held to answer for what he has done.’
