Meghan Markle could land prominent acting roles after hiring a well-known Hollywood dealmaker, a PR expert has said.
The Duchess of Sussex, 41, who rose to fame starring asRachel Zane in US legal drama Suits, is working with respected industry “fixer” Adam Lilling, according to reports.
Meghan andPrince Harry are said to have met Adam asEllen DeGeneres and her wifePortia de Rossi renewed theirwedding vows in Los Angeles last month.
Adam, an entrepreneur who has worked with Ellen and stars including Nicole Kidman, has now been tipped to help Meghan return to her acting career.
PR expert Mayah Riaz toldThe Mirror: "If it is true the couple have hired Adam Lining, then I’m sure we can expect some prominent Hollywood roles."
However, Mayah said it was unlikely that Meghan would take on any “longer commitment roles”, such as a long-running TV series like Suits.
She added: "Alongside whatever Meghan does, charity will stay close to her. She won't abandon her charity work due to pursuing another career.”
Meghan's shot to fame during her time on Suits – but she previously revealed she almost missed out on the role of Rachel after she “blew” the audition.
Writing on her now-defunct blog The Tig, the Duchess said: "I kept forgetting my lines, I was distracted, and I blew it. Which sucks because I really wanted this one. I really like Rachel. But I blew it. I wanted it, and I lost my shot at it. Or so I thought."
But luckily for Meghan, she landed the role and went on to make it a big success.
It comes as speculation continues over whether or not Meghan and Harry, 38, will attendKing Charles’ Coronation next month.
Relations between the couple and theRoyal Family continue to be strained following the publication of Harry’s memoirSpare and the release of their controversialNetflix documentary.
Harry and Meghan have confirmedthey have received an invitation to the historic ceremony but are yet to announce whether they'll be there.
The Firm is said to havedrawn up two plans for the Coronation – one for if the Sussexes do attend, and another which will be used if they do not.
Harry did make surprise return to the UK last month, for the preliminary hearing in his court case against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL).
Harry is part of a group of celebrities who are bringing claims over allegations the Daily Mail publisher carried out or commissioned illegal or unlawful information-gathering.
The hearing concluded last week with a decision expected at a later date.
