Meghan Markle has ruled out a return to acting, despite a successful role as Rachel Zane in US law series, Suits.
The 41 year old wife of Prince Harry, 38, has opened up on her life in a new interview with Variety magazine, where she insisted she is "done" with acting, but said that she wants to bring rom-coms back.
The mother of Archie, three, and Lilibet, 16 months, said goodbye to her acting career when she met Prince Harry, as she went on to become a working member of the royal family.
It wasn't for long though, as she and Harry stepped down as working royals in 2020, less than two years after they married in April 2018, before they moved across the Atlantic and they now live in California.
When asked if she would consider a return to acting, Meghan said: "No. I'm done. I guess never say never, but my intention is to absolutely not."
The Duchess of Sussex gave her thoughts on how she would feel if an actress were to play her in a role, as well as revealing that she would be happy to help said actress to portray her.
She said: "'I haven't given that much thought, to be honest. It's all weird. You have to compartmentalise. Anyone talking about me or casting an actor to play me, that will be a caricature of me that has been created for a business that makes people a lot of money.
She continued: "I hope that in preparing for that role, she [the actress] finds the softness and the playfulness and the laughter. The silliness. I just hope she finds the dimensions. Also, she can call me!"
Meghan also confessed her love of rom-coms, revealing that she is a big fan of rom-com favourite, Julia Roberts, as the Duchess expressed her wish for those types of films to return.
Speaking about how she and Prince Harry "see things through their love story", Meghan said: "Like a good rom-com. Don't we miss them? I miss them so much. I've probably watched 'When Harry Met Sally' a million times. And all the Julia Roberts rom-coms. We need to see those again."
Meghan wouldn't be against it if her children, Archie and Lilibet wanted to go into the entertainment industry, as she said she would say "great", but also "good luck", before discussing that people might speculate that her and Harry's famous positions might make people question how their children would get into the industry.
