Morgan Wallen Postpones Upcoming Shows After Being Ordered On Vocal Rest

Morgan Wallen, who was forced to cancel his Mississippi show last weekend after losing his voice, is postponing three more concerts this week after a doctor ordered voice rest for the country star.

“Y’all know how important my fans are to me, so I feel horrible about this news,” Wallen said on his Instagram Stories. “There’s nothing more I want to do than be on stage playing for you guys. But as of today, I’m on doctor-ordered vocal rest, and we have to reschedule this week’s shows.”

A trio of concerts, which were scheduled to be held in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on April 27, in Moline, Illinois, on April 28, and in Lincoln, Nebraska, on April 29, have been rescheduled to June 27, September 8 and September 9, respectively. All original tickets will be honored on the new dates.

“I appreciate and understand everything you do to get to my shows. So, it would be unfair of me to put on a show that I know will not be 100%. I’m doing everything I can to speed up the process of getting to that 100% mark,” Wallen explained.

He was scheduled to perform at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi, Sunday night, but revealed the bad news at the last minute, disappointing thousands of fans who had already entered the venue for the show.
