Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil Injured In Fall Off Stage

Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil broke a few of his ribs after he fell off the stage during a solo concert in Tennessee on Friday, October 15.

Neil had been performing with his band at the Monsters on the Mountain festival in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, when he suffered the fall. Neil was one of the headliner acts for the three-day music festival.

Billboard reports that Neil walked towards the front of the stage encouraging the crowd to clap along while playing Mötley Crüe’s “Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away).” However, he accidentally stepped off the edge and fell four feet.

Neil was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where X-rays revealed that he suffered broken ribs, according to an onstage announcement from Neil’s bassist Dana Strum.

“The truth is, Vince fell and broke ribs when he fell,” Strum told the crowd. “Now that sucks for us and him. He was so excited to be here. He lives in Tennessee. But he was willing to stick it out and tough it out when the people back here were telling him ‘Don’t do it.’ Let’s have one good round of applause, please, for this guy.”
