Nelly Furtado To Host 2024 Juno Awards

The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) has announced Canadian pop star Nelly Furtado will host the 53rd Annual Juno Awards, scheduled to take place on March 24, 2024 at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Furtado previously hosted the Juno Awards show in 2007 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where she won five awards, including album of the year and artist of the year.

Before Furtado, Michael Buble and actors Simu Lu and Russell Peters had hosted the Juno Awards show multiple times.

“It’s going to be spicy. It’s going to be sexy,” Furtado promised in a recent phone interview ahead of the announcement about her hosting role. “I’m going to bring my A-game of keeping the festivities rolling along and bringing the fun, fashion and energy.”

Furtado is also set to perform at the Awards event, which will also feature performances from past Juno Award winners Charlotte Cardin, The Beaches and Maestro Fresh Wes.

The Juno Awards will broadcast and stream live across Canada on March 24 at 8 p.m. ET/9 p.m. on CBC TV, CBC Gem, CBC Radio One, CBC Music, CBC Listen and globally at CBCMusic.ca/junos and CBC Music‘s YouTube page.
