Rihanna wowed the star-studded crowd at the Oscars 2023 ceremony as she delivered a moving performance on Sunday night.

The pregnant singer looked flawless as she took to the stage for a powerful rendition of her nominated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, Lift Me Up.

The hitmaker, 35, was draped in diamonds as she rocked a black bra underneath a bejeweled sheer top which revealed her growing baby bump.

She completed the look with matching trousers and diamond jewelry, while her hair was styled into loose waves.

The star commanded attention as she hit all the notes while accompanied by a full orchestra.

Her boyfriend A$AP Rocky – with whom she shares a 10-month old son – looked on proudly and raised his champagne glass to the singer as her performance came to an end.

The singer looked delighted to perform on the coveted Oscars stage after receiving her first-ever Academy Award nod for the track – which is a ode to the late actor Chadwick Boseman.

Rihanna created the original song alongside Black Panther director Ryan Coogler, Nigerian singer Tems and composer Ludwig Göransson.

The group faced stiff competition in the best original song category.

Previous winner Lady Gaga was nominated with Bloodpop for Hold My Hand from Top Gun: Maverick, while David Byrne, Ryan Lott, and Mitski landed a nod for Everything Everywhere All at Once’s This Is a Life.

Honorary Oscar winner and 14-time nominee Diane Warren landed yet another nomination for Applause from Tell It Like a Woman.

However the gong went to Naatu Naatu from international sensation RRR, written by Kala Bhairava, M. M. Keeravani, and Rahul Sipligunj.

The release of the ballad marked Rihanna’s first solo vocal effort since the release of her last album, Anti, in 2016.

Earlier in the evening, the Pour It Up singer put her baby bump on full display as she wowed in a dominatrix-style sheer leather look on the ‘champagne’ carpet.

The expecting mother, 35, teamed a flowing black skirt with a long train, see-through body suit, and leather bra.

The Battleships actor completed the bold look with dazzling earrings and an enormous gem ring.

Rihanna kept her hair up into a bun and wore fierce makeup – including a bright red lip and dramatic eyeliner.

She first revealed she was expecting her second child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky when she performed a the Super Bowl halftime show last month.

After she took to the stage at the football game, many were quick to notice that she had a baby bump, and her publicist confirmed that her second child was on the way soon after.

The Fenty Beauty founder is already the mother to her 10-month-old baby boy, whose name has not been shared with the public.
