AceShowbizWendy Williams is getting rid of her personal belongings in her New York City penthouse. According to a new report, the former host of “The Wendy Williams Show” is selling off her stuff in her $3 million condo as she told her friends that she’s moving to L.A.

The former daytime talk show queen reportedly told pals about a move to Los Angeles in the next few weeks, but a source told Page Six that it’s not true. “She was asking how to sell her stuff with The Real Real, but I don’t think she’s actually moving to Los Angeles,” the source told the outlet. “She seems so unwell.”

The Sun initially reported that among the items that the 58-year-old was selling was her iconic purple chair. Other items included her furniture and other eclectic home decor items that were featured when she filmed her show from home during lockdown.

However, Wendy’s representative clarified the rumors. “Wendy is getting rid of items for spring cleaning, this is what people do this time of year,” Shawn Zanotti revealed in a statement. “It’s a new chapter for Wendy and she wants new things. This is a common gesture people do and Wendy is no different.”

Prior to this, Shawn denied rumors that Wendy’s podcast show titled “The Wendy Experience” was “canceled” to rest. In a statement to Entertainment Tonight on Monday, March 27, Shawn shared, “We are still working behind the scenes on several projects.” He further stressed, “There has been no official cancellation of the podcast.”

Shawn additionally offered an update on Wendy’s possible return to TV. The representative told the news outlet that the TV personality “does desire to return to TV.”

Rumors of Wendy’s podcast being axed first emerged last week. At the time, a source told The Sun that her highly-publicized podcast has been canceled before it even launched. “It’s strange, because she is saying there is no podcast, but is also telling people she’s going to return to TV,” the source claimed, “It’s hard to figure out what is based in reality.”
